The Emergency Management Department of the city is hosting a virtual three-hour summit on November 1st, 1–4pm PDT, that focuses on cultural resource recovery. Lori Foley will be speaking about the federal response to protecting cultural heritage. In addition to presentations by City staff, other presenting entities will include the Getty Trust, a duo discussing a project stemming from NCAPER’s Crisis Analysis & Mitigation Coaching, and an international case study presented by ICCROM.

There will be time for questions and answers via chat.

The seminar will begin at 1:00 PM PST on November 1st, 2023.
